This southern African plant contains a group of compounds known as

It contains lapachol, a naphthoquinone shown to possess

anti-tumor properties.
Black Cohosh Root
As well as treating gynecological ailments, Black Cohosh is often used
to treat rheumatism due to its anti-inflammatory properties. It contains
isoflavones, actein, & cimifugoside.
Sarsaparilla Root
Sarsaparilla root contains a mixture of
steroidal saponins derived from smilagenin and sarsapogenin, which can
serve as starting materials for the in vitro production of
steroidal drugs.
White Willow Bark
Aspirin originated from willow bark, which contains phenolic glycosides,
particularly salicin which is converted to salicylic acid in the
intestines & liver. It is anti-inflammatory in action.
Stinging Nettle Leaves
