Reishi (Ling-Zhi) contain a wide variety of constituents with varying effects. It is primarily used as a tonic to support cancer & age-related degenerative conditions. Reishi contain polysaccharides with anti-tumor and immunostimulating properties, increasing both spleen cell & bone marrow growth. They have been used traditionally for allergies, hypertension, hepatitis, detoxification, radiation exposure, & ulcers.

Wild Indigo contains alkaloids & oleo-resins known for their anti-viral & anti-microbial effects. It is used for treating enlarged & inflamed lymph nodes and especially infections of the ears, nose & throat. In large doses this herb can have emetic and cathartic effects, and therefore should not be used excessively.

Echinacea has anti-bacterial & anti-viral properties. It is contra-indicated for auto-immune diseases.

Astragalus (Huang qi) is a Chinese root known to possess anti-viral & immune-enhancing properties due to polysaccharides similar to those found in bacteria, which cause immune system activation.

Myrrh Gum is a biblical tree which produces a gum resin with anti-microbial, anti-fungal, astringent & expectorant properties. It is antiseptic & stimulates white blood cell production. It is a specific for gingivitis, colds & flus, respiratory, fungal, & yeast infections. It contains volatile oil, resin, & gums.

St. John’s Wort This herb is known to contain anti-viral and anti-inflammatory compounds which have been the focus of much AIDS research. St. John’s wort has been shown to cause photosensitivity in some people. It is recommended to avoid exposure to sunlight or wear sunblock while using.

Thuja is known for its anti-viral, anti-fungal & expectorant properties. It is a popular treatment for warts, fungal infections, & bronchial cattarrh. It also brings on delayed menstruation.
