contains the xanthine derivatives caffeine, theobromine, & theophylline,
as well as
high tannin content. It’s grown in Southh America
where natives use it to increase energy levels.
Green Tea
is a good source of the purine alkaloids
caffeine and theophylline, & tannins. Theophylline, as a prescription
drug, is a smooth muscle relaxant for bronchial asthma and is a
diuretic. It helps stop bronchial spasms & is bronchio-dilating, opening

American Ginseng Root
is an adaptogen that produces
a state of increased resistance to stress, increasing overall vitality
and strength. It contains triterpenoid glycosides called ginsenosides.
Fo-ti Root (Ho Shou Wu)
is a stimulating Chinese herb known for preserving one’s youth and vital
energy (chi). It has been used as a tonic for the blood and circulatory
system. The Chinese claim that it can restore the pigment to the hair of
those whose hair has gone gray.
Ginkgo biloba is a
vasodilator that improves cerebral blood flow, and has anti-oxidant
properties, preventing formation of free radicals. Its active
constituents are flavonoids and ginkgolides. Clinical research has shown
Ginkgo biloba to prevent atherosclerosis & to allay Alzheimer’s disease.
